Applications

The format decides the grade.

A capsule and a clear beverage impose different requirements on the same botanical. These guides cover what changes — solubility, color, taste, dose, carrier, and documentation — before the formula is locked.

A note on format fit

Most sourcing mistakes are format mistakes.

The same 95% curcuminoid extract that fills a capsule cleanly will settle out of a clear drink. The same elderberry extract that colors a gummy deep purple may turn a beverage brown. Grade selection is a formulation decision, and it is cheaper to make it before the sample request.

Tell us at the brief stage

  • Final matrix and pH, not just "a drink"
  • Target dose per serving and serving size
  • Color, taste, and mouthfeel constraints
  • Process temperature and hold time
  • Destination market and required documents

Next step

Start from the formula, not the catalog.

Describe the finished product and the dose. We will propose the grade, the carrier, and the documentation that fits.
