Sleep & Calm

Valerian, passionflower, lemon balm, and chamomile extracts for non-melatonin sleep and calm routines, specified for taste, color, and marker content.

Range notes

Sleep formulas are moving away from a single melatonin dose toward multi-botanical evening routines. That shift puts more pressure on taste, color, and marker consistency, especially in gummies and drink powders. These extracts are selected for those formats: low-color options, water-soluble grades, and marker ranges that survive processing.

What to confirm before you quote

  • Valerenic acid content is the usual valerian marker, but the ratio of valerenic acid to total valerenic acids should be agreed in writing.
  • Chamomile color and flavor shift with grade. Ask for a low-color, low-odor option when the finished product is a clear beverage.
  • Passionflower flavonoid methods vary. A UV method and an HPLC method give different results and should not be compared directly.

Buyer questions

Before the first order

What is the minimum order for sleep extracts?

Every grade in this range starts at 1 kg, packed in a 1 kg foil pouch with a food-grade liner. Bulk drums, including 25 kg fiber drums, are available as quantities scale. Custom grades are quoted individually.

Can you match a specification from our current supplier?

Yes. Send the existing specification or a recent COA and we will confirm whether the plant part, marker range, analytical method, carrier, and particle size can be matched. You receive a written counter-specification before pricing.

Which documents are supplied with each lot?

A batch COA, technical data sheet, SDS, allergen and GMO statements, and an origin record. Additional heavy-metal, pesticide, or microbiological reports can be arranged, as can Halal, Kosher, or organic certificates where the grade and facility are covered.

Next step

Need a sleep grade outside this range?

Send the marker, method, quantity, and destination. We will confirm what can be built and what documentation comes with it.
