Dietary Supplements

Extract specifications built for label claims and retailer review.

The brief

Supplement brands live with two audiences at once: the consumer reading the label and the retailer or marketplace checking the file behind it. The extract specification has to satisfy both. That means a marker that can be printed honestly, a method that matches the number, and a COA that arrives with the batch rather than a week later.

What changes in this format

Three decisions that shape the grade.

These are the questions we work through before a sample is sent. Answering them early avoids a second sample round and a reformulation.

Dose feasibility comes before price

A 500 mg capsule can hold roughly 400–450 mg of extract once you allow for excipients. If the label dose needs 1,000 mg of a bulky extract, the format is already in trouble. Share the target dose and capsule size before asking for a quote.

Match the marker to the claim

If the label says 5% withanolides, the COA should report withanolides by the same method. Never let a UV figure stand in for an HPLC figure unless the specification says so explicitly.

Plan for the retailer document request

Marketplaces increasingly ask for a batch COA, allergen statement, and GMO statement. Our standard pack covers these; additional heavy-metal or pesticide reports can be arranged before the first shipment.

The full catalog can be screened against your application. If the grade you need is not listed, a custom specification may be the better route.
