Teas, tonics, herbal formulas
Traditional & Herbal Products
Herbal extracts for formulas that respect tradition and testing.
The brief
Traditional herbal products carry a different kind of credibility: the formula story matters, but so does the analytical file. Whether the product is a tea, a tonic, or a multi-herb capsule, the extract has to be consistent enough to support a repeatable formula and documented enough to satisfy a modern retailer.
Formats we support
What changes in this format
Three decisions that shape the grade.
These are the questions we work through before a sample is sent. Answering them early avoids a second sample round and a reformulation.
Ratio extracts need an honest definition
A 10:1 extract means ten kilograms of herb went into one kilogram of extract, but it says nothing about marker content. For traditional formulas, pair the ratio with an identity and marker check.
Multi-herb blends need a lead specification
When five botanicals are blended, one extract usually drives cost and assay. Identify the lead marker and build the blend specification around it.
Keep traditional and medical language separate
Traditional-use wording is regulated differently from disease claims. The ingredient file supports identity and quality, not a therapeutic claim.
Extracts for this application
Starting points, not a shortlist limit.
The full catalog can be screened against your application. If the grade you need is not listed, a custom specification may be the better route.
